1Who is responsible for your information

This website, carpetcleaninghopesandovallc.com, is operated by Hope Sandoval LLC, a single-member New Mexico limited liability company based in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Victor Sandoval is the owner and the only person who reads what comes in. You can reach us at (575) 654-3764 or vrsandy45@gmail.com.

2What the quote form collects

The quote form asks for your name, phone number, the type of cleaning you need, and details about the job. Email address is optional. Only fill in what you are comfortable sending.

The price calculator asks how many rooms, hallways and staircases you have and how many rooms need pet treatment, then your name and phone number, with email and a note optional. You can also attach up to four photos. Section 3 explains what happens to them.

Please do not put payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or medical information in the form. There is no reason for us to have any of it, and the form is not the place for it.

3Photos

Photos are optional, and you choose what is in them. Try to keep people, paperwork and anything personal out of the frame.

Before a photo leaves your phone or computer, the page shrinks it and strips out the hidden details phones add to pictures, such as where the photo was taken. (If JavaScript is switched off in your browser, photos are sent exactly as they are.)

Your photos are used for one thing: working out and confirming the price of your job. Only Victor looks at them. We do not sell them or share them with anyone, and we never post them online or use them in advertising, on this website or on social media, unless you give us written permission first.

Photos are not kept long. They are stored with your request in our Netlify account. Netlify gives each photo its own long, random web address, which appears in the email we receive. The address is not published or listed anywhere, but anyone who has it can open the photo, so we never share it. We delete the photos, including any copies, within 90 days of sending you a price, whether or not you book. Netlify may take up to a day to stop serving a deleted photo. If you would like them deleted sooner, just ask (see section 11).

4What we do with it

We use what you send to work out a price, get back to you about it, and arrange the work if you go ahead. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers or lead-generation companies. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

5Who else handles it

Running a website means a few companies touch your data on the way through. These are all of them:

Netlify hosts this website and delivers the quote form to us. Like any web host it keeps server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. If the quote form fails to send or a page breaks, the site sends us a short error report through Netlify: which page, what went wrong, and when. It never includes anything you typed into the form. Photos sent through the price calculator are held there with your request until we delete them (see section 3).

Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces this site uses. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google, and Google can see your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set.

Anthropic makes Claude, the AI assistant I use to help me read your messages and draft my replies (see section 6).

Square, Inc. runs the online booking and card payments. When you click through to book, you leave this site and land on Square's, and anything you enter there is handled under Square's own privacy policy, not this one.

6How I read and answer your messages

When you email me or send a request through this site, I use an AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) to help me read it and draft my reply. I check every reply myself before it is sent.

Notes about your request (your name, how to reach you, what you asked and what I answered) are kept in my private business dashboard, which only I can see, so I can follow up with you. Those notes are never sold or shared.

7Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or social media trackers. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to. If that ever changes, a banner appears and this section gets rewritten before it does.

The quote form and the price calculator keep a small note in your own browser's storage (not a cookie): the times you sent a request in the last 10 minutes, so the same request can't accidentally go through twice, whether an error report already went out today, and your last price check (the room counts or floor size you entered, kept for 30 days so they're still there if you come back). That note stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear it any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

8Calls and text messages

If you give us a mobile number, we use it to call or text you about your quote and your appointment: confirmations, reminders, when we are on the way, and following up on the work. Those are service messages about something you asked for. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text to stop the texts.

9How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not turn into work are deleted within about 12 months. Photos are deleted much sooner, within 90 days of sending you a price (see section 3). Records of jobs we actually did, including invoices and receipts, are kept for at least four years because New Mexico tax rules require it.

10Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us. Quote requests land in a password-protected email account with two-factor authentication switched on, and photos stay in our Netlify account, reachable only through their unlisted web addresses, until they are deleted. No small business can promise a system is impossible to breach, and we are not going to pretend otherwise, but your details are not sitting in a spreadsheet on a shared computer.

11Asking us to delete it

Call (575) 654-3764 or email vrsandy45@gmail.com and ask. If you want to know what we hold on you, ask for that too. There is no form to fill in and no charge. We will deal with it within 30 days. The one thing we cannot delete early is records we are required to keep for tax purposes.

12Children

This is a service for homeowners, landlords and businesses. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has sent us something through this site, call and we will delete it.

13Links to other sites

This site links out to Square for booking, and at the bottom of each page to our social media and review pages. These are plain links: nothing from those websites loads on ours. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website under their rules, and this policy stops at the edge of ours.

14Changes to this policy

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Carrying on using the site after that means the updated version applies.
